قطع العشرات من سائقي الميكروباص الطريق الدائري بالمعادي من الاتجاهين
عند منطقة المنيب، صباح الأحد، احتجاجًا على نقص السولار وانتظارهم عدة
أيام من أجل تموين سياراتهم.
وتسببت الاحتجاجات في حالة من الاختناق المروري في مناطق المنيب وشارع البحر الأعظم، وامتدت إلى ميدان الجيزة.
انتقلت القيادات الأمنية إلى موقع الاحتجاج وحاولت إقناع السائقين بإنهاء
قطع الطريق واستخدام وسائل التعبير السلمية، ووعدتهم بنقل شكواهم إلى
المسؤولين في وزارتي البترول والتموين، لكن السائقين رفضوا إنهاء احتجاجهم
مؤكدين أنهم يصرخون منذ أسابيع ويطالبون الحكومة بحل أزمة السولار دون
جدوى، وهو ما دفعهم إلى اللجوء للتصعيد.
#Egypt Egyptian book blasts Muslim Brotherhood and becomes a best-seller
An Egyptian
lawyer whose dissenting voice got him thrown out of the Muslim
Brotherhood examines what he calls the group's hidden radicalism in a
book that has become a best-seller in Cairo. Tharwat al-Khirbawy's "Secret of the Temple" has been dismissed by Brotherhood leaders as part of a smear campaign.
But
its success points to a deep mistrust harboured by some Egyptians
towards a once-outlawed movement that has moved to the heart of power
since Hosni Mubarak was toppled and its candidate secured the
presidency.
In its 12th print run
since November, the book is being sold in upmarket shops and on street
corners, pointing to a thirst for information about a group whose inner
workings remain a mystery months after President Mohamed Mursi came to
power.
Expelled from the group a
decade ago, Khirbawy says he aims to expose dictatorship and extremism
inside the Brotherhood. In the process, he has joined a media war being
waged to shape views in Egypt's deeply polarised political landscape.
Asked
to comment on the book, one senior Muslim Brotherhood leader dismissed
its content as "fallacies". Another said that to comment on such a book
would be a waste of time.
"I want to make all people know the reality about the Brotherhood," Khirbawy said in an interview with Reuters.
Khirbawy sees the way he was kicked out of the Brotherhood as an illustration of the group's authoritarian streak.
He
was disciplined in 2001 at a "Brotherhood court" for publishing three
articles that criticised the group for not engaging with other
opposition parties - a criticism still levelled at the Brotherhood
today. "The Brotherhood does not know the virtue of differences of
opinion," he said.
Demonised for
decades by Egypt's military-backed autocracy, the Brotherhood sees such
attacks as propaganda concocted by opponents who have struggled to get
organised and carve out their place in the new order.
But
Khirbawy's arguments resonate among those Egyptians who believe the
Brotherhood aims to subvert new freedoms for their own ends to set up a
new Islamist autocracy - a view hardened late last year when Mursi
unilaterally expanded his powers.
MURSI DEFENDS QUTB
Khirbawy has been extensively interviewed by independent Egyptian media that are broadly critical of the Brotherhood.
In
his book, he explores the ideology of Mursi and the small group of
leaders at the top of the movement, examining their devotion to Sayyid
Qutb, a radical ideologue executed in 1966 for plotting to kill
president Gamal Abdel Nasser.
Qutb,
a Brotherhood leader, formulated some of the most radical ideas in
political Islam. These included the idea that modern-day Muslim
societies were living in a pre-Islamic state of ignorance. His most
radical work, written while he was in prison, advocated violence to
bring about change.
Mursi is on
the record as defending Qutb as a thinker "who liberates the mind and
touches the heart". In a 2009 talk show appearance posted on YouTube
last year, Mursi said Qutb "finds the real vision of Islam that we are
looking for".
Among Brotherhood
watchers, it is no secret that the Brotherhood's current leadership were
heavily influenced by Qutb, who also wrote more broadly on Islam.
But
"trying to give the impression that Mursi is a Qutbist is an
exaggeration" said Khalil al-Anani, an expert on Islamist movements.
"Yes they are influenced by him in terms of the purity of ideas, but not
in terms of believing in violence or judging people as non-believers,"
he said.
Brotherhood spokesman
Ahmed Aref said the movement, like all groups, had rules that must be
respected, adding that it was not the first time a member had left over
the years and spoken out. "The difference this time is the media," he
said.
A well-oiled campaign machine
and grass-roots support base helped the Brotherhood sweep the first
post-Mubarak parliamentary vote at the end of 2011, but the assembly was
disbanded in June when Egypt's highest court declared the election
rules unconstitutional.
Suspicion
that the Brotherhood plans to dominate Egypt means the group may find it
harder to win votes as fresh parliamentary elections near.
"They
don't have people who can explain themselves in a good way,
particularly those who talk to the Egyptian public," said Anani. "There
is a huge gap of mistrust."

معظم المشاركات ليلة يوم الاثنين في الشارع للاعتصام لتحقيق مطالبهن.

“حركة الحقوق المدنية والسياسية” «حسم» ان “الاعتصام يهدف إلى عزل وزير
الداخلية والتحقيق في انتهاكاته إلى جانب الإفراج عن المعتقلين
الاعتصام النسائي المفتوح يعد أحدث
تطور ضمن سلسلة الاحتجاجات المحدودة التي تشهدها مدن سعودية مختلفة على
خلفية ملف المعتقلين السياسيين.
تعمل اليمنية بشرى المتوكل منذ عشر سنوات عبر الفن الفوتوغرافي
على تمثيل النساء المحجبات، فتحارب الأفكار المسبقة التي يمتلكها الغرب عن
الحجاب وتقاوم في نفس الوقت التطرف الإسلامي في الدول العربية.
تذكر بشرى المتوكل أنها قرأت هذه الجملة التي جعلت
منها شعارها، على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي "إذا كان للمرأة حق التعري
فلماذا ليس لها الحق في التحجب؟". وتعتبر بشرى وهي في 44 من عمرها رائدة
التصوير الفوتوغرافي في اليمن، وتحترف هذا الفن منذ أكثر من عشر سنوات
تقارب تمثيل النساء وكيف تحولن إلى أشياء في العالمين الإسلامي والغربي.
وجعلت بشرى المتوكل من الحجاب حجر الزاوية لعملها. وكانت الفنانة في
بداياتها ترغب في تفادي هذا الموضوع الذي "تم تداوله مرارا". لكن الفكرة
فرضت نفسها عليها تدريجيا خلال إقامتها في الولايات المتحدة لمتابعة
دراستها، وبعد اعتداءات 11 سبتمبر/أيلول 2001. فحين كانت ردود الفعل
العنيفة والمناهضة للإسلام على أوجها في أمريكا حينها، شاهدت بشرى امرأة
تتحجب بعلم الولايات المتحدة. فقالت بشرى لفرانس 24 إنها "ردة فعل على
المعاملة السيئة التي تعرض لها العرب والمسلمون بعد هذه الاعتداءات
الرهيبة".
فالتقطت وقتها بشرى المتوكل صورتها الأولى واتخذ عملها الفني منحى سياسيا
لم تحد عنه فيما بعد. فمنذ ذلك الوقت تفضح صورها الفوتوغرافية الأفكار
المسبقة التي يمتلكها الغرب عن الحجاب وكذلك مواقف الإسلام الراديكالي في
العالم العربي.

وتقترح بشرى بديلا عن الزاوية الرومنطيقية أو النظرة المشوهة عن المسلمين
والتي غالبا ما يقع الغرب في شراكها، حريصة في نفس الوقت على تفادي الرؤية
المستشرقة... وترتدي بشرى الحجاب في اليمن "لأسباب ثقافية أكثر منها دينية"
وتنزعه حين تسافر. وتعمل الفنانة على التعبير عن مختلف الفوارق والخلفيات
التي يحملها الحجاب في طياته.
فتقول بشرى المتوكل "أريد أن أعبر عن الجمال وعن الإرادة وعن الغموض
والفائدة والخطر والسياسة والخوف والدين والجانب الثقافي". لذلك تعمد إلى
تنويع كل الصيغ والتركيبات حول الحجاب بمختلف القراءات من وسيلة إغراء وحتى
أشكاله القسرية. فتتنقل بشرى في إخراجها بين الحجاب التقليدي اليمني
الأنيق بألوانه المتنوعة و"الفنية بطبعها"، مرورا بالعباءة السوداء وهي زي
مستورد من الخليج تتحول فيه النساء شيئا فشيئا إلى أشباح.

الحجاب سلطة مضادة بين أيدي النساء
وترفض بشرى المتوكل الفكرة السائدة عند البعض الذي يرى في الحجاب وسيلة
قمعية. فتندد بها كرؤية عبثية وضيقة تحكم على الحجاب من منطلق ثقافي محدود
في حين تتجاوز في اليمن مثلا مظاهر التمييز الجنسي قضية قطعة من القماش،
وتقول "رغم التحسن الواضح المسجل في العشرين سنة الماضية، تظل أغلب النساء
محدودات المستوى التعليمي وعرضة للتمييز". وتضيف بشرى المتوكل "توجد أشكال
قمع أكبر من الحجاب، على غرار أن تحرم المرأة من التعليم وأن تزوج غصبا
عنها وأن ينزع منها أبناؤها وأن لا تملك أي حق أمام القانون!".
وتؤكد بشرى أن ارتداء الحجاب حين يكون اختياريا يمكن أن يمثل وسيلة للتحكم
في الذات وفرض الإرادة في مواجهة الرجال وسط مجتمع محافظ. فتوضح "حين تقرر
المرأة تغطية رأسها وشعرها ووجهها، فهي تستولي على القرار حيث لا تترك لأي
كان فرصة مشاهدة ما لا تريد أن تظهره".
وتذهب بشرى إلى اعتبار الحجاب مطلبا نسائيا، فترى فيه سلطة مضادة في عالم
تخضع فيه النساء لديكتاتورية الجمال والعراء المبالغ فيه المفروض على
أجسادهن. فتقول "يمارس على النساء في البلدان الغربية ضغط حتى يظهرن دائما
شابات وجميلات ونحيفات، وهي صناعة بملايين الدولارات تساهم في إدخال التوتر
على حياتهن. أليس ذلك أحد أشكال القمع باسم الحرية؟". وتندد بشرى المتوكل
بالقانون الفرنسي الذي يمنع منذ 2011 ارتداء البرقع في الأماكن العامة،
فتعتبره "مسا بحرية النساء".
سلسلة فلة
تعمد
بشرى المتوكل وهي أم لأربعة بنات في سلسلة فلة إلى صياغة نسخة مسلمة من
دمية باربي الشهيرة وإلى إرساخها في محيط عربي معاصر. بشرى المتوكل
ماذا لو تحجب الرجال؟
من جهة أخرى تعترف بشرى بأن الحجاب يمكن أن يكون وجها من وجوه القمع حين
تجبر المرأة على ارتدائه. وفي مجموعة "حجاب"، تغطي بشرى أما وابنتها
ودميتها تدريجيا بدءا بوشاح خفيف ووصولا إلى النقاب وتماهي الشخصيات مع
الديكور حتى الاضمحلال. فتغيب النساء عن الرؤية وتختفي الفوارق بينهن.
وتضيف الفنانة "في بعض الأحيان لا أفهم ما تقوله النساء اللواتي يرتدين
النقاب فالكل متشابهات وحين نخاطب إحداهن لا نعرف هوية من نخاطب!". فعمدت
بشرى إلى قلب الأدوار وتصورت عالما يتحجب فيه الرجال وتلبس فيه النساء
ثيابا مخصصة عادة للرجال في الشرق الأوسط. والهدف كذلك من عملها، بالإضافة
إلى التفكير في توزيع الأدوار داخل المجتمع، هو إظهار وجوه الشبه بين
الأزياء في إطار ثقافة "يدعى فيها الرجال أيضا إلى اعتماد البساطة في
لباسهم".
وتعزز بشرى المتوكل موقفها قائلة "لا أريد أن أغذي الكليشيهات السلبية بشأن
المحجبات والتي تعتبرهن ضعيفات ومقموعات وجاهلات ومتخلفات". فهي تعمل
كفنانة وكامرأة وكمتحجبة من حين لحين، على إثبات عكس ذلك عبر صور تتلاعب
بالنواميس والجنس والثقافات وتخلط فيها بذكاء دائما السياسية بروح الفكاهة.
Eyewitnesses saw Egypt balloon crash victims 'jump into the sky'
Nineteen people were killed when a hot air balloon carrying 20
tourists exploded Tuesday morning in Luxor, Egypt. Eyewitnesses were
able to take photos just minutes before and after the tragedy, and told
FRANCE 24 what they saw.
The balloon was flying at an altitude of 300 metres over eastern
Luxor, in south-eastern Egypt. The travel company that organised the
trip says the victims are from France, Great Britain, Japan and Hong
Kong. Two survivors – one of whom was the balloon’s pilot – were taken
to a local hospital, according to an Egyptian security official.

Mahmoud took the first photos of the crash, just after rescue personnel arrived on the scene.
“The field workers that are in my photos saw the hot air balloon
suddenly explode, and saw passengers jump out of the basket. Someone
from the company that organised the ride told me that a British person
had survived. Fire-fighters arrived very quickly, as well as the
governor of Luxor. Many people came to help get the bodies out of the
fields.”

Moustafa works for the travel company that organised the hot air balloon ride.
I saw a fire in the balloon’s basket. Due to the fire, the balloon
lost [altitude]. It was out of control. It jerked up and dropped down
again 30 metres. There were some people jumping from the balloon and
falling into the sugar cane fields before it crashed.
I know the pilot – he’s a good pilot. The problem wasn’t him, it
was the balloon – what could he do? Everyone in our company is shocked
and very sad about what’s happened.

Egyptian X-Files : The Curious Case of #Morsi’s interview
Yesterday millions of Egyptians glued in front of their TVs waiting for
president Morsi’s recorded interview on Mehwer TV channel at 8 PM that
actually started at nearly 2 AM !!! According to Presidency the
interview was going to be aired on National TV as well other channels.
There were some official excuses said and claimed for this delay as I will list :
There was a technical problem in the Nile Sat !! “ I am sorry but the Nile Sat was working fine then and it is not live interview in the first place !!”
The Presidency failed to broadcast the interview from the Presidential Palace “ WHY TO BROADCAST THE INTERVIEW FROM THE PALACE !!”
as there was a problem in the fiber optics there and so they had to
transfer the recorded interview to the National TV building in Maspero
but there was another technical problem !! TECHNICAL PROBLEM IN NATIONAL
TV BUILDING !?? Yes and that problem forced Amr El Lithy to take the
recorded interview and head directly to the Media City in October !!!
!!?
The MB members claim that Mehwer channel delayed the interview to
air commercials !! First the TV channel was airing from 8 PM to 2 AM
patriotic songs , second CAN ANY TV IN THE WORLD DELAY THE PRESIDENT’S
INTERVIEW FOR NEARLY 6 HOURS TO SHOW ADS AND PRESIDENCY IS OK WITH IT ??
What really happened for and caused this delay ?? Why
was not there a singly apology to the millions of the viewers waiting
for that delay with a realistic excuse ??
People are speculating that the true reason of delay was in fact the
editing of that interview especially there parts that seemed to be
missing like a question about America who answer was still there. Some
say that the interview was edited by Muslim brotherhood presidency team
to avoid any mockery while others say that parts related to Iranian
Egyptian relations were removed from interview.
Interestingly people like Dr. Bassem Khafagy paid attention closely to Morsi’s watch and found the following :
The beginning of the interview , it was 2.15 PM according to Morsi’s watch.
Then in the end it was 4.30 PM according to Morsi’s watch.
When Amr El Lithy asked him about Port Said it was 11.50 AM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyhow editing does not take all that time when the summary of the
President’s interview was distributed all those newspapers , channels
and websites by Presidency by 5 PM !!!!!??
Another riddle , another enigma we will know its truth hopefully soon.
By the way did Amr El Lithy explain to Morsi why he resigned from his
position as his media advisor after the December 5,2013 Presidential
Palace clashes !!?

she is very frigid, and the man just rapes her. Sexual education should
be an obligatory subject in secondary school.'
Instead of being indicted, these torturers are presented as heroes,
as brave and dedicated “detectives.” No one gives Maya or Dan the kind
of scolding, which you envision Obama giving, off-screen. Chastain’s
Maya, is presented as especially admirable, a feminist action hero. She
not only gets her man; she also muscles CIA male chauvinists out of the
way, as she pushes ahead on “The Greatest Manhunt in History.” And
we’re supposed to empathize and cheer her on.
That a movie which at its core is essentially a
revenge flick—evil guy kills innocents, heroine stops at nothing to kill
evil guy—is even being compared to journalism by its makers or anyone
else says more about the sorry state of journalism today than it does
about the film.

Egyptians
like to cry over the spilled milk; and whenever they face a problem,
they focus on asking "If-it-was" questions instead of focusing on
solving the problem.

انا مش عارف ليه في ثقافه سايده ان الاب او الاخ يمتلك بنته او اخته !؟!؟؟! ليه مش قادرين يقتنعوا انها انسان كامل زي الولد بالظبط ؟؟ و ليه متخيلين ان الكبت و الحبس هما الحل ؟؟؟ ميعرفوش ان الممنوع مرغوب .. يعني احبس و افصل و امنع و ابعد .. برضه لو في مشكله حتفضل موجوده .. اما لو اتكلم و ناقشت و تواصلت ... المشكله مش حتبقي موجوده , عشان خلاص طلعت للنور ... و اللي متعود علي الضلمه حيعيش طول عمره يخبي و يخفي في الضلمه , بس اللي متربي علي النور , بيبقي انسان حر , ناضج , عارف مصلحته ... مش بيخاف من حد عشان عارف انه في السليم ... فلتسقط سياسه الترهيب و تبدأ سياسه الاقناع و التوعيه !
